Other Research

Chan's group has interests in a wide variety of other research projects that include: fluvial sequence stratigraphy in the Tertiary Duchesne River Formation (below), the Permian White Rim Sandstone (tar-bearing unit in Canyonlands National Park, above), Mesozoic stratigraphy and sedimentology in areas across the Colorado Plateau, Pleistocene Lake Bonneville (western Utah), and aspects of geoconservation and geoeducation.
